Insulated Panel Van Conversions
Our range of car-derived Van and Panel Van Insulated Conversions features the innovative RVL three-element panel kits which provide a thermally efficient and smooth food-safe lining. The resulting conversion is strong yet lightweight and offers impressive internal load space. Tested to ATP class C standards, these conversions can be relied upon to transport your goods in a safe and true temperature-controlled environment.

A wide range of other optional extras is also available to provide you with a bespoke product for your operational needs. Shelving, for example, can be configured to suit your load requirements, including height adjustable, folding and removable options. Compartment divisions and door fitments are other key areas that we can tailor to suit your needs.
Construction
To meet the market's requirements for efficient temperature control without skimping on quality, we have introduced an insulated panel kit which has helped to cut the cost of panel van insulation.
This innovative concept features three-element panels which fit snugly around the interior of the load space to create a lightweight conversion which can increase payload capabilities. By creating a box within a box design we have produced an extremely temperature efficient insulator which has achieved a 'K' Factor of 0.3w/m²/ºc when tested for ATP class C certification.
The special lining has been created by bonding a layer of insulating foam to a layer of high specification plywood and then adding a 1.5mm GRP high gloss skin. This gives a smooth inner surface which is almost identical to the popular interior finish of the RVL Bodies. Being easy to clean, it is also extremely durable and therefore can still look good many years after commissioning.
So that these conversions can withstand the constant loading and unloading process involved in daily distribution operations, we have developed a very strong laminated floor, with special insulated wheel boxes which are able to reduce the ingress of heat. Finished in a blue gel the whole interior looks attractive yet purposeful.
Panel Manufacture
All RVL Panel Van Conversions, Box Bodies and Cold Stores are constructed utilising insulated sandwich panels that are manufactured in-house.
RVL's Panel Manufacture Workshop has recently been expanded to keep up with demand, providing in excess of 1100m² of production space.
With three full sized vacuum panel press beds and the UK’s first robotic glue application machine, RVL’s panel production plant is probably one of the most technologically advanced in the world.
The introduction of a computer programmable, automated trimming saw and an overhead vacuum lift ensures consistently high quality panels are produced.

Each RVL Insulated Panel Van Conversion, Box Body and Cold Store comes with a ten-year construction warranty, as standard.
This gives you peace of mind and adds reassurance. If there is any risk to take, it is taken by us, not you. Furthermore, if you decide to sell the vehicle, the transferable warranty will add value.
