RVL is proud to present Damage Watch; the free nationwide service that health-checks vehicle bodywork.
Damage Watch provides operators with a simple way of ensuring that their fleet of vehicles is kept in pristine condition for maximum efficiency. This is done via free of charge monthly visits to the client’s site by our technicians to visually inspect areas of bodywork damage. These fleet audits will check the healthy condition of vehicle bodywork and internal components, and could help operators save money and needless vehicle downtime. By monitoring a fleet, we can advise a Transport Manager of areas of damage and provide professional advice on how urgent it is that an area of body damage is repaired.
Set up could not be easier; we simply require a list of fleet registration numbers and a preferred day on which the checks can be carried out. This visual inspection service will involve a three-tier reporting system - complete with photographs and estimates - for minor repairs, temporary repairs and VOR. Equipped with this information, a Transport Manager can then make an informed decision on authorising and scheduling any repair work.
Other services may also be added to the basic inspection, if required, such as fluid checks and tyre pressure checks. Likewise, if there are certain other services that may be required, we would be only too pleased to assist in such cases.
State-of-the-Art Technology Provides Swift and Efficient Reporting
Utilising state-of-the-art technology, incorporating PDAs and bespoke field service software, we can provide swift and efficient reporting with ease.
An inspection may be undertaken at the pre-arranged time and within minutes of completion, the report can be emailed to the relevant party informing them of the technician’s findings. The reports are clear and easy to interpret and leave the client in no doubt as to what is required to restore the bodywork to its optimum and at what cost. Better still, the customer can view this information on-line and, with a dedicated account, user name and password, access to the fleet data prepared by us is but a few clicks away.
Once repairs have been authorised and carried out, the reports would be updated in the very same way, complete with client signature, enabling us to raise invoices in the same effortless manner.
