Embedded Linux Distribution Build and Customisation

Utilising the versatile Yocto framework (https://www.yoctoproject.org) we have developed custom Linux distributions for a number of target processors, ensuring the resulting image not only contains the features needed by the customer, but meets the performance and memory footprint required. Designing Linux distributions with tailored layers has proved effective in moving to later versions of the Kernel, BSP and individual packages, providing the customer with flexibility to move their product on to the next design iteration. In some cases these custom layers have been ported to an entirely different hardware platform with relative ease:
